Unable to allocate memory for Hyper-V virtual

You get an error message indicating that there's not enough memory on the host server, and therefore the virtual can't startup. The problem is there is clearly sufficient memory, and so this error doesn't make sense.

Turns out to be a bug in Windows 2008.

Here's a hotfix for it:
